This Castro Valley Palomares Hills whole home remodel transformed an outdated floor plan into a bright, open-concept home designed for modern family living. The renovation focused on improving flow by removing walls and connecting the kitchen, dining, family room, and living room into one cohesive gathering space.
The redesigned kitchen features two-tone cabinetry, generous storage, a large entertaining island, and a cozy dining nook overlooking the backyard. Every detail was carefully planned to maximize functionality while creating a warm, timeless aesthetic that feels both elegant and welcoming.
One of the project’s biggest design challenges was reimagining the primary suite. Through multiple layout iterations, the space was redesigned to incorporate the homeowners’ wish list—including a double-sided fireplace connecting the bedroom and bathroom—while creating a luxurious spa-inspired retreat. The renovation also included a beautifully updated children’s bathroom, new flooring, lighting, and finishes throughout the home.
